Wendy joined the Global Institute for Food Security in 2024 as Executive Officer. Prior to joining GIFS, Wendy worked within the credit union system for more than 10 years. In her most recent roles with Diamond North Credit Union and Conexus Credit Union, she worked within the governance, strategic planning and IT sectors.

Wendy’s dedication to volunteerism and creating a positive impact aligns with the values of GIFS and emphasizes her desire to contribute to the betterment of the community. Wendy has acquired certificates in project management, governance, community investment and website design, as well as in the administrative field.
