GIFS is a founding partner with the National Index on Agri-food Performance, a public-private coalition establishing Canada’s first agri-food sustainability index.
The index has produced a set of sustainability indicators and metrics related to Canada’s agriculture and agrifood industries. The index will help to increase Canada’s competitiveness in the global market, spotlight the sustainable practices being utilized in the industry and help identify where improvements can be made.
