Strain engineering

- DNA assembly: PCR fragments, plasmids, gene clusters, and synthetic chromosomes.

Cell growth and phenotyping
Reproducibly culture aerobic organisms with thousands of micro-volume cultures in parallel.
- Transformation, plating, colony picking (2,400 colonies/hour), culturing, passaging, growth-based analysis, and fluorescence-based analysis.
- Precision fermentation: Microlitre to litre scale microbial growth with benchtop fermentation capacity (4x 0.4-1.8L parallel bioreactor systems and 2x 5-10L bioreactors).
Proteomics and metabolomics
Quantification and analyses of metabolites and proteins at a scale of thousands per day.
- High-throughput sample prep and injection, HPLC, LC-MS (Quadrupole Time-of-Flight (QTOF), and Triple Quadrupole (TQ) systems).
