Saskatchewan born and raised; Matt was hired by GIFS early January of 2020. He has since been working closely with researchers and other members of the Plovision team to improve UI components for the Plotvision project.

Matt is educated in computer science, networking, and other IT related fields, but specializes in front-end development. From 2018-2019 he received his diploma from Saskatchewan Polytechnic in the Computer Systems Technology program.
