Lauren was born and raised in rural Saskatchewan. She originally started her career in broadcast journalism after receiving a Broadcasting Diploma from Mount Royal University in 2011, and worked at CTV Saskatoon as an audio technician. After graduating from the B. Comm (2016) and Masters of Professional Accounting (2017) programs at USask, she wrote and passed the CFE in 2017. Lauren has spent over six years working in public practice (MNP LLP), specializing in small business and agriculture accounting.
