Chris Knihnitski joined GIFS as the Director of Finance in 2021. Before joining, Chris was the Director of Finance at TCU Place, Saskatoon’s Auditorium and Convention Centre. He also has extensive experience in agriculture and the natural resources sector in Saskatchewan.

Chris obtained his CPA, CGA in 2012 and has cultivated specialties in Finance Systems, Financial Planning & Analysis, Projects, and Operations through his varied experience. Chris is passionate about applying a financial lens to the Global Institute for Food Security’s bold vision where everyone has access to safe and nutritious food.
