Jim has extensive board and global executive leadership experience in agriculture. He is adept at guiding organizations by gathering key stakeholders, facilitating high-impact discussions, and collaboratively evaluating critical choices. He has shaped long-term vision for businesses and aligned stakeholders to accelerate enterprise-wide execution with measurable outcomes.

Jim’s career spans nearly four decades with Corteva and predecessor organizations in Canada and globally. He previously held Vice President positions in global business as VP Strategic Initiatives, VP Crop Protection Global Portfolios, and VP Cereal Herbicides. He was President of Dow AgroSciences Canada during which time he served on Dow Canada finance and ethics committees.

His key career accomplishments include significant revenue and profit growth, both organically and through merger and acquisition, key contributions to commercial integration during the formation of Corteva, developing and commercializing new technology and reshaping supply chains.

Jim has applied his leadership skills to influence industry and positively impact the community through numerous boards and committees. A few highlights include:

• Board Director and Executive Committee Member for AgriNovus, driving growth in the Indiana Bioscience economy;
• Long-serving Chair and Board Director of CropLife Canada, advocating for the agriculture industry; and
• Serving the community as Board member for United Way of Greater Indiana.

Jim is currently Board Director for Habitat for Humanity Victoria.
